We are often able to accommodate same day appointments. Click here to request an appointment.

It is best to schedule an appointment first. However, we will do our best to accommodate walk-ins if time allows.

Eye exams, which include ocular health and functional visual assessments, take about 30 minutes.
If necessary, an evaluation using dilating drops may require a second visit. All eye exams include a retinal exam for glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts.

Yes! Please bring your most recent eyeglasses and/or contact lenses that you use. These can be used to see how much your vision has possibly improved!
You will also be asked for your current medications as some health conditions do affect vision.

Vision Insurance covers issues with blurry vision when the eyes are generally healthy. This usually includes spectacle lens and contact lens-related treatments.
Medical Eye Insurance applies to visits when eyes are NOT well and specific to treatments needing any medication (topical and/or oral).

We offer affordable self-pay options for all services and products.

Eyeglass prescriptions are required for the appropriate contact lenses to be considered.
(Please note: All new patients at Summit Optometric must be initially evaluated for eyeglasses BEFORE contacts.)
Contact lens services incorporate test/trial lenses to see which specific design works best to clear your vision, while fully maintaining adequate corneal health.
